Nursery Started!

I officially ordered some things for the nursery after our big u/s on the 12th. It's supposed to arrive next week, I am so excited!!!! Now that we know we are having a girl, we're going to go with a butterfly theme. The colours are pink, taupe and white. We're going to paint 3 walls pink and keep one wall taupe.

The first thing I found that I wanted to order was this tree decal from etsy.com. I went with the actual colours in this picture, and this is going to go on the taupe wall, and the crib will be going next to it. This is a picture of the tree:

The butterflies around the tree are what inspired us to go with the whole butterfly theme to start with.

Next, I ordered the bedding from http://www.babysupermall.com// - being from Canada it took me FOREVER to find this bedding from anywhere with shipping and handling not charging an arm and a leg, and then customs on top of that! I found this to be the most reasonably priced site by far. The bedding is by Chocalo and called "Mia Rose".

We plan on going with a dark crib like the picture has. The order didn't include the mobile (which I love) or the wall art, which I also like very much. I'll do some more looking around and if I don't find anything I like as much, I'll do another order :)

I figured that I have one wall done, but I have more to do! Something with dimension on the walls would be nice. I've seen these white flowers in a friend's house and I know they are quite common, and I found them at umbra.com for a reasonable price. I thought they would go perfectly with the butterfly theme since they do look like butterflies for the most part. Having them be white will also help break the pink & taupe-ness.
